The Girl-Bird

Why ‘girlbird’? My favorite role (and first leading-lady role) in a musical was Gertrude Mcfuzz in Seussical the Musical. I still feel a bit like Gertrude, months later… anyway, throughout the show she’s referred to as a girlbird. It just felt right to put it in my blog title, anyway. So there you have it.

Anyway, since it’s always awkward trying to describe one’s self, I’ll just give you the basics and let you figure out the rest.

  • Name: Siri
  • Age: 17
  • Height: 5′5″
  • Likes: theater, coffee, dance, fashion, almost any music, po-et-ry, writing, photography and digital art, her guitar,  movies in which the leading man wears tight pants, Hugh Jackman, mes amis, le francais, anything european
  • dislikes: bad teen literature (re: TWILIGHT), being misunderstood, vinyl leggings worn as pants, running shoes worn with anything but athletic clothes, people who impose their religion and ‘morals’ on other people, bad drip coffee.
  • role models/wishes she was: audrey hepburn and all those elegant classic movie stars, her friends, lea salonga
