The Girl-Bird

Why ‘girlbird’? My favorite role (and first leading-lady role) in a musical was Gertrude Mcfuzz in Seussical the Musical. I still feel a bit like Gertrude, months later… anyway, throughout the show she’s referred to as a girlbird. It just felt right to put it in my blog title, anyway. So there you have it.

Anyway, since it’s always awkward trying to describe one’s self, I’ll just give you the basics and let you figure out the rest.

Quotes:

“We die only once, and for such a long time!” – Moliere

“At least you’ll never be a vegetable. Even artichokes have hearts.” – Amelie

“It is better to help people than garden gnomes.” – Amelie

My favorite thing ever is this quote I saw on facebook: “If your boyfriend sparkles, he probably isn’t that into girls anyway.”
